The Southmont Wrestling Club had 3 girls win gold at the Women's USGWA Indiana State Championships Folkstyle Wrestling Tournament on Sunday, February 26. Emily Tricker was champion at Elementary Division 35 pounds, Rachel Welliever was champion at Elementary Division 65 pounds, and Gibby Paxton was champion at Elementary Division 84 pounds. All three girls attend New Market Elementary. Haleigh Moore, a Southmont freshman, placed 4th at High School Division 112 pounds.
